World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses, such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will increase 3% of its previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be applied. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for instance "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level with normal methods.

A  boost upgrade is a way to alter the defense or attack attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades can be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher tier version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will improve after a future reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a high possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer an additional bonus when they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes within a radius around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

It is commonplace to see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the best way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, but you should also consider placing them near critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrade the equipment they have it will be replaced with a new item. This means that the same armor piece will get the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This could be a disadvantage, as the item can increase in price even if you don't require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, with an initial level and a different set of bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can use up lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants a buff if the player repeatedly enters or leaves the water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is highly valuable in PvP.  item upgrading  rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of the unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The upgrader for items lets players increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and armor) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also boost the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every when you upgrade an item, it has a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can result in the item reverting to its original state which means that the player has to spend additional materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item fails to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained like chances to be crit attack damage, additional effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied before any attack damage increases. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to the value of the base item. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will need to carry each piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients needed to upgrade.
